The moon is a frequent element in human mythology and legends. It guided people on migratory travels, served as a time-keeping reminder, fueled suspicion of hairy people, and is often blamed for bad behavior.

Well, get ready to blame something else on it as the moon is going to appear quite large in the sky very soon. on 23 June 2013 we’re going to see a supermoon. This is when the moon is closest to earth, at its perigee, a point where it’s closest to the earth in the sky during the given month.
